I am a big baby, Lab-terrier
mix, about 8 yrs old now... but I had a
really
rough start in life. I'm actually the ONLY kid-pet that was BORN here,
but after being adopted out at the age of 10wks; , I contracted
Parvo-virus
and almost died. Lynda called my adoptees to see how I was doing &
was horrified to find out I was sick. She rushed me right to the
vet & being the tough little critter that I am, after about
48hrs
on intravenous, I could climb over a four-foot lattice wall. ...Hence
the
nick-name, Houdini-Weiny !! I can also climb trees, wishing wells
& scale roofs of small buildings. Charlie actually wanted to
call me Rocket, but it just sounded too flashy to me. I would never
come
to that name, so Lynda would call me a stupid little weiner ! Hey...
Weiner...
I LIKED that.... it sounded real cool! and rhymed
great
with my first nick-name "Houdini" |
