Smooth, tumbled rocks from the granite
shores of our Lake Superior home
provide a perfect medium for unique, multi-dimensional
conversation pieces.
Inspired by the work of Lin Wellford, I confess that I'm fast becoming
a rock-painter junkie!
Here is the first batch I've tried my hand at and I'm quite thrilled
with the results ...
from the 30 lb twin wolves (back & front painted) to my little
mouse paperweights.
I even added stiff leather tails to my beavers.
